Grant Application Process

Before you begin the application process, please go to the preliminary steps page to answer critical questions that will help you determine whether your program is a good match for Trust funding.

An advance consultation with a program officer is the first step in the official application process. You may schedule an appointment at the Trust office in Winston-Salem anytime or talk with a program officer during one of the Satellite Offices held around the state each year.

Submitting an application is the second step in the application process. Before preparing any documents for submission, you should read the Guidelines document prepared by the division that will receive your application. (Health Care Division Guidelines or the Poor and Needy Division Guidelines).

NOTE: Applications will not be accepted electronically; they should be printed, signed, and mailed or hand delivered to the Trust office.
