Evaluation and Research
Paralleling the Trust's cultivation of areas of emphasis within its Poor and Needy and Health Care divisions, the scope of our evaluation and research has expanded from simply assessing grantee fidelity to stated goals to examining what we, our grantees, and other stakeholders need to do to increase our impact. Further, in recognition of the fact unexpected developments frequently arise from the complex social problems our grantees address, we view evaluation as a means of both fostering honest dialogue with grantees about adapting to changed circumstances and enhancing our collective performance.
